Last time, Candy Cane knocked off the Wedding party from the list and nameless twin daughters were born. Oh and they moved to Hidden Springs and now live in a huge house.
The one learning to walk currently is Butter Pecan. She knocks off bookworm from the list as her dad already used up the spot for virtuoso.
The other one has been replaced by The Blob.
Oh. False alarm. This one is also learning to walk. She goes by the name of Apple Cider. She is also a virtuoso, but does take perfectionist from the list.
Point Recap because it’s been a long time since we saw this family:
Traits: Ambitious, Artistic, Clumsy, Good Sense of Humor, Insane, Neat, Snob, bookworm, virtuoso, perfectionist, and Unstable
Skill Challenges: Charisma, Personable
Paranormal: Play a Fairy.
Parties: Bachelor/bachelorette, wedding
Total Points: 15
I forgot that they have to complete their LTW for the points to count, so always insert “potential” in the point counts. I am counting them, but they will be removed if they do not complete their LTW.
Sorry it has been so long for any Tart AU updates. I have been playing Shademoor, my sims 2 bacc, The Dreamsicle’s, my new backwards ISBI, Seeing Double, a Doppelganger challenge and The Souffle’s, an It’s All Relative challenge. I have also gotten up to the Gen 8 heir poll for the actual Tart’s, too.
They now live in this very large home and still have a shitload of money leftover.
Apple Cider: No, daddy! No wanna potty! NO!!
Apple quickly learns that she will do as she is told.
Butter Pecan is the exact opposite.
BP: I go potty like big girl! No tinky diapies!
First night in the nursery.
Might there be a little brother on the way?
My self imposed rule is to have at least one of each gender.
CC: Hun, I think we might need a little help around here. I came across a posting on the bulletin board at work. It seems a new couple, Dara and Jefferson, are looking to move to the area, but are having trouble finding a home in a decent neighborhood.
Morty: I don’t like the idea of bringing complete strangers into the house with the girls so little.
CC: I think it might be perfect. Dara is a pastry chef and Jefferson is an up and coming surgeon. They have their own funds and everything.
Morty: Invite them over and let’s see if we all get along first okay?
CC: Good idea.
Morty: Thanks for coming over so early.
CC: We just thought it would be best to get to know each other before the twins wake up.
Dara: Man, you guys are so attractive!
Jefferson: Do you swing?
Morty and CC: *stare blankly*
CC: I read about swinging in a book once. Morty is a very jealous man, though.
CC: I know you both have careers, like us.
Morty: We work nights mostly, how about you?
Dara: I work night too, but Jeff works days. It’s one of the reasons we have not started a family yet.
Dara: I should mention that I will be happy to prepare all the meals.
CC: Oh, that would be great! Me and Morty are just barely passable in the kitchen.
Morty: Well, I have to say that I am quite impressed with the both of you. If you want to rent from us, we would be happy to have you.
CC: Are you sure this is okay with you?
Morty: I’m sure. I would like to have a babysitter on hand while we are at work, just in case though.
CC: Sounds good.
Jefferson: They seem like great people, baby. If anything happens, we both have great jobs and money. If worse comes to worse, we can just stay and have a house built for us.
Dara: Maybe we should ask them where our room is. I’m feeling a bit frisky.
Jefferson: Me too! I wonder if we can talk them into swapping.
Dara: Leave that to me.
Jefferson: Good luck, he seems to be a bit of a prude.
Dara: He’s a Goth. It won’t take much to bring out the bad boy.
Dara: Oh dear God. These people really need more help than they think.
Dara Garden-Splash – Workaholic, Disciplined, Good, Natural Cook, and Ambitious.
LTW: Celebrated Five-Star Chef.
Jefferson Garden-Splash – Workaholic, Absent-Minded, Bookworm, Loves the Outdoors and Ambitious.
LTW: World Renowned Surgeon.
By the time the new couple got settled and shown around the house, it was time for Candy Cane and Morty to leave for work. They were an hour into their shift when they realized that they forgot to call a babysitter.
The really should have remembered because the new workaholic couple were to busy working to pay attention to the girls.
Dara: Honey, I made sushi rolls. Come and get it!
Jefferson: You don’t like sushi.
Dara: I know, I just had a craving for it.
Jefferson: Weird. Hey, do you mind watching the kids later? The hospital wants me to take some classes before my next shift.
Dara: It’s fine with me.
Jefferson’s classess took the whole night to complete. He got home just in time to feed the girls before they woke up the house with their yells.
CC: Must you have your morning panic attack in front of the shower?
Morty: There’s four showers in the house. Why must you use this one?
As usual, one twin is perfectly content while the other must scream the house down for attention.
Morty: Will you hold on, I keep resetting every time I try to pick you up.
CC: Hey, what’s up?
??: Blah blah bah.
CC: Well, I can’t right now. For one thing I’m just on my way to work and for another, I’m 6 months pregnant. There is no way that Morty will let me travel or leave the girls right now.
??: Blah blah blah??
CC: I’ll see what I can do.
Dara found herself wandering away from the kitchen to play with the girls. She started to wonder if her career really was more important than starting a family.
Jefferson: Honey, how would you like to go on a little trip?
Dara: A trip? Where?
Jefferson: Well, it’s hard to explain right now. I overheard Candy Cane on the phone and I know she can’t go on this errand herself. I just thought it might be fun to take some time off work and go ourselves.
Dara: I’ll think about it. You do realize that we need special transportation, right?
Jefferson: I got that covered. I have a friend who has a friend who knows this one guy.
Dara: Of course you do.
After further discussion, Dara and Jefferson brought their plan to Candy Cane and Morty to hammer out the details.
CC: How are you going to get there?
Jefferson: I already have the that covered. It is being delivered right now.
Morty: Are you sure? You do realize that they have had issue after issue and we cannot guarantee your safe return.
Dara: We’ll be okay. I hope.
Candy Cane: Thank you for offering to do this. If the girls weren’t so young and if I wasn’t pregnant, I would go myself.
Jefferson: It’s no problem. I think me and Dara could use the time to discuss some issues. Spending time with the girls has me realizing that I might want to start a family sooner, rather than later.
Dara: Really? Me too!
Morty: *laughs* Yes, you do need to have time together, but I’m not sure this is the trip I would suggest for a belated honeymoon.
Jefferson and Dara decided to head out right then.
Jefferson: You ready, hon?
Dara: Ready as I’ll ever be, I guess.
See you next time when we might actually make some progress in the challenge.
